KENDRICK LAMAR ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM
After over five years since his previous album, Kendrick Lamar will finally return May 13 with his much-anticipated and fifth studio album, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers.
Under the new alias, oklama, the multi-platinum and Grammy-award winning rapper made the announcement Monday (April 18) through his new company, pgLang. This will be Kendrick’s final album on TDE.
Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers will mark the Compton rapper’s first album since his 2017 highly-praised album, DAMN., which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts and received a Pulitzer Price the following year.
Since then, Kendrick, who received an Oscar nomination has collaborated with Busta Rhymes, Baby Keem, and more. Earlier this year, he announced a new film, performed at the Super Bowl halftime show, and is set to headline Rolling Loud Miami 2022 on July 24.
