Young Thug and Gunna are among 28 people associated with YSL that have been charged in a 56-count indictment of racketeering and gang activity.

The indictment includes charges of conspiring to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, murder, armed robbery, and participation in criminal street gang activity.

WSBTV reports Young Thug taken to Fulton County Jail on Monday (May 9) where he faces two separate counts including conspiracy to violate the RICO Act and participation in street gang activity.

According to the indictment, YSL (Young Stoner/Slime Life) was believed to have started in late 2012 in the Cleveland Avenue area of Atlanta and have connected ties with the Bloods gang.

WSBTV’s Michael Seiden reports Young Thug is accused of renting the car that was used in the murder of 26-year-old rival gang member, Donovan Thomas, Jr. in 2015. Prosecutors also allege that two YSL associates, Christian Eppinger and Antonio Sumlin, worked to get Young Thug’s permission to make a second murder attempt on YFN Lucci while he’s jailed in Fulton County.

Young Thug’s lawyer Brian Steel told local media that, “Mr. Williams committed no crime whatsoever” and that he would “fight till his last drop of blood to clear him.”

In addition, Gunna was listed in the indictment for one count of conspiring to violate (RICO).
